Low Rock and High Rock are beaches in Portmarnock

or Malahide

they seem to be on the border of both

High Rock has a lovely vintage rusty-red ladder

Low Rock is usually a more tranquil swim

it feels quite remote, not an urban swim

maybe because I couldn’t, for once, see the famous Poolbeg stacks

there are some fun rockpools too when the tide is right
