Between January and April there was a good bit of grey storminess


but colour never really leaves the coast and there were a few stunning days to be had


the Glen beach cliffs were sparkling in March:


calm, and the water unseasonably warm


the fair-weather robins started to appear


below I attempt a meditation on the pull of the cold water in the chilliest months …
