there is a great walk from Irishtown to Poolbeg, via Shelly Banks
it surprised me that near the Poolbeg chimney stacks
there is a sort of bright, tangled meadow next to the sea
– if you look in a certain direction, you could be on some remote coast
not under an eggy-smelling urban sewage works or anywhere like that …
