Connemara II

that same weekend

the shades of the desolate Connemara landscape were breathtaking

soft and melancholy

bruised and muted, like always

especially Glassilaun:

bleakly beautiful as ever

and Dog’s Bay, golden in the evening:

Mweenish was a deserted blue-lagoon paradise:

Leitir Móir was an excellent base

to visit all our favourite haunts in this sad-lovely land
